Maryedith Burrell is a show business veteran who has worked all over the world. With over 22 films to her credit as well as numerous TV series, she is an award-winning actor, writer and producer. Her latest play, #OUCH!: An Accidental Comedy, recently won New York Times Top Ten and ran to sold-out houses. She has produced documentaries for National Geographic, Discovery and TLC among others, and currently enjoys working as a studio script doctor. Maryedith has contributed to Rolling Stone, Vogue, The Los Angeles Times and The Great Smokies Review. Her essay, "An Affair to Forget," appears in the best-seller anthology, What Was I Thinking? 58 Bad Boyfriend Stories (St. Martin’s Press).
Currently, Maryedith is working on the documentary, RAISE HELL: The Life And Times of Molly Ivins, due for release in 2019. She is also writing a nonfiction book, BEAUTY BANDITS, about the Green Beauty Movement.
A professor, lecturer and sponsor of after-school programs, she believes in giving back to the global creative community that has treated her so well.
