Maryedith Burrell is a show business veteran who has worked all over the world. With over 22 films to her credit as well as numerous TV series, she is an award-winning actor, writer and producer. Maryedith is ”Creative Consultant” on the documentary RAISE HELL: The Life and Times of Molly Ivins directed by Janice Engel. Her latest play, #OUCH!: An Accidental Comedy, won New York Times Top Ten and ran to sold-out houses. She has produced documentaries for National Geographic, Discovery and TLC among others, and currently enjoys working as a studio script doctor. Maryedith has contributed to Rolling Stone, Vogue, The Los Angeles Times and The Great Smokies Review. Her essay, "An Affair to Forget," appears in the best-seller anthology, What Was I Thinking? 58 Bad Boyfriend Stories (St. Martin’s Press).

A professor, lecturer and sponsor of after-school programs, she believes in giving back to the global creative community that has treated her so well.
